Laying the Foundations

Join us for an engaging and interactive session designed especially for families of early elementary students (kindergarten through grade 2). Together, we will explore the science of how children learn to read and share simple ways to make reading part of your family’s everyday routine.
During this session, families will:
• Learn about the five pillars of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• See examples of fun, easy activities to use at home.
• Practice small routines that make a big difference in your child’s reading success.
• Receive a digital toolkit with resources to support learning at home.
If you missed registration, you still could join virtually. Please use the Zoom link below the time you would like to join.
