Good morning San Antonio Families!
All students who plan to participate in DECLAMATION must select a poem or prose piece to recite and bring their piece to their teachers to copy by this coming Wednesday, January 24th. The declamation contest will be February 6th.
REMEMBER: Selections can be either serious or humorous.
Kindergarten Poetry: A poem must be at least two verses in length (8 lines minimum).
Kindergarten Prose: A story selection must be at least a one-minute presentation.
1st and 2nd grade Poetry: A poem must be at least four verses in length (16 lines minimum).
1st and 2nd grade Prose: A story selection must be at least a two-minute presentation.
3rd, 4th and 5th grade Poetry: A poem must be at least eight verses in length (32 lines minimum) .
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Prose: A story selection must be at least a three-minute presentation.

Please note this important announcement for the end of the week early dismissals:
On Thursday December 21, all SCSD elementary campuses including San Antonio will dismiss at 12:00 pm. Bus service will be provided at this time. Please be prepared to pick up your child or meet the bus. If you have students at other campuses: Saracino Middle School will dismiss at 12:15 pm. Socorro High School sill dismiss at 12:30 pm.

San Antonio Elementary's Craft Fair and BBQ Fundraiser was a big success! We would like to recognize and appreciate our donors and sponsors who gave of their time, talent, and resources to keep this tradition alive. A giant appreciation also for the teachers, staff, and families of San Antonio school, who gave their time and energy to put all the moving parts in motion. Great job San Antonio!
